Ngong police have arrested a man suspected of raping multiple women in the Vet Farm area since 2022.
According to police, the suspect, believed to be a former inspectorate officer with Nairobi County and a resident of Embulbul, was apprehended on Wednesday in possession of a facemask, handcuffs, and other items allegedly used in the attacks. Citizen Digital Reports
Investigators allege the man targeted picnicking couples and religious pilgrims visiting the area.
In several reported cases, he is said to have handcuffed the male companion before leading the woman to a nearby thicket, where he allegedly assaulted her.
Ngong Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Jacob Ndunda has urged anyone who may have been a victim to report to Ngong Police Station for identification and further investigations.
